We follow Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles in how we work, engage, and collaborate with others. The charity associated with us, Charushila, is a signatory to the UN’s Global Compact, which follows ESG principles.
Environmental
While specifying materials, we prioritise reduction first, followed by reuse and then recycling to try to achieve zero waste. We care about the impact of our projects on wildlife and vegetation. Our designs are inspired by nature and natural materials.
Social
We use client and community engagement, and participatory design as part of the design process. Charushila, our sister charity, works with some of the most vulnerable people such as women, children and older people.
Governance
In our work with others, we follow good governance in all our transactions. We also have policies such as equal opportunities, working with vulnerable people including children, complaints, and ethics.
